Just a sketch of one of the new images planned for this folio. This is before those "extra details" are added. The folio will have two different versions -- a regular one with just images, and an expanded (limited) edition with descriptions and/or mini-stories about these saurians.
I know it still looks quite a bit from my older drawings, but I'm still working on what I want for my future artwork -- and some habits die hard. In the end, I will still retain some of my old ways of drawing blended with new techniques. One thing this drawing doesn't convey is that it took me considerably less time to make it.
There is one other reasoning for why I'm changing -- I've never being able to reach the level of details nor coloring that other people have managed, so I'm going to move in a direction away from that, and just do some rather stylized images. After all, what many people like about my artwork is the "stories" that go with them.

At least, you are still DOING something! ;) There are people, who just quit because of some stupid sense of "depression"... I mean, some people just cry "Waah, I am so bad and can't draw as good as others!" and then they quit. But you continue! And I want to support your work... so that you DO KEEP IT UP! ^..^
Despite very nice aspects, I see some huge flaws in proportion and anatomy here... I will write you a note about that, okay?
You can read it all by yourself then. I just say... take a look at the arms, the torso and the right shoulder... but you'll read it in the note.
Don't be scared - I wanna help you! As always. ;)

Hey, even my anatomy is NOT perfect, either. But even drawing rubber pens or game dices would be hard stuff!!! XD
"Stylized Art" is not easy, either. You have to know about anatomy, to make it more simple, too. Ya see, even "The Simpsons" are anatomically correct - though we won't believe it! :P But there is a great deal of knowledge.
In your case: maybe, you should do less defined muscles then!! :) That could be quite refreshing... and it can be done really fast, too!
In any way... just never give up and keep it up!!!!!
