I decided to try going lineless again. But with a twist, this is the first piece I've done starting in greyscale. It was a lot more eye-opening than I realized: it isolated lightness and texture from color choice. Definitely something I want to continue with. That said, one of the ideas I had with this was to use orange and cyan: warm colors inside and cool colors outside. I liked the contrast a lot. I've seen some vampire Chrysalis pictures in the past, some very exceptional, and I wanted to jump on that bandwagon. I have one more pony I want to do this for so keep an eye out on that ;)
I have to also give credit where it is due: the lovely dress.
