A new species! How long has it been!? I present to you guys: An Alteia (pronounced all-TAY-ee-uh or just all-TAY-uh). As is per usually, here's my bullet point list!
-They are incredibly calm, caring and kind creatures <3
-They are BIG. Upwards of around 16 ft (almost 5 m) tall!
-They have a 'core' of sorts. If you were to pop the balloon part of them and remove it, it would reveal a tall, scrawny squeak
-The balloon component is helium filled so, despite their rubber core, they are extremely light and they typically just float about
-They come mostly in white, sometimes in black and rarely in grey. They also typically have a single highlight color though this fellow here you can see is perfectly blank C:
Additional fun fact: I was searching for a name for these fellows for about a day. I wanted something close to deity and eventually I came up with alteia! Now, typically, I'll try and google a name to make sure I'm not overlapping with something absurd, or worse, naming them after a foreign swear word, but to my delight, I learned that alteia has two definitions! Firstly, it is apparently latin for "to grow/nourish". This is great on its own, but on top of that, it is also the name of a particular plant that inhabits swampy areas. A plant referred to as...

Funny thing, I actually just answered the same question on doodle sheet I posted last night! I'll copy paste the reply I wrote:
I was actually thinking about that! I feel like if they got popped, they would certainly deflate but they would indeed naturally heal and I like to think that they generate helium over time too so they would eventually naturally reinflate as well! On top of that, I think a simple bandaid (or just a patch I guess) would work wonders for these fellows is it would allow them to start reinflating immediately. Then once they're fully healed they could just peel it off and go about the rest of their day. They'd still have to wait to reinflate though so no floating about for them. It'd kinda be like a sick day for them hahaha
