*smiles... This story I truly felt good about.
A while back, news came that a fur had suffered a tragic automotive accident, and an auction was put together to raise needed cash. Having little to offer other than my talents, I placed a future story into the pot. I am happy to say, that the entire auction was purchased by our friend Faf, and he in turn instructed that all of the people placing things into the auction should create their art for
spectrafox at a future date as an encouragement. - What a wonderful and generous idea!
Contacting Spectra, I asked her what shi might like in the way of a story. This went back and forth, and shi created the picture from which the story was created.
Normally, in a case like this, I would never post the story as my own as it was a gift, but Spectra has insisted. I am very honored by this.
Without further fuss... I present to you, 'Colintel'.

Rather fascinating. I liked the story a lot... but, somehow I foresaw who is the dishwasher. Maybe I have read too many of your stories... I have learned to read your style, in a way.
Okay, not much to say, this put a smile on my face and I liked the little details a lot, but there isn't much I can say about this. Very good story, all in all. Well done.

I managed to open this, but I notice that it doesn't have a file extension, my computer didn't know what to do with it until I manually told it to open with a word processing program. That might be why somebody was getting an unknown file type error. The .doc or .rtf or whatever format it's supposed to be should be added at the end of the file name, and that will probably fix the problem.
In addition to all the usual praise, i notice particularly that you have a wonderful touch with child characters. The balance of joy and innocence that hir interactions with the little one bring to what could be a dark and frightening tale are wonderful. Almost enough to make me wish I had little ones around the house again. Almost.
