It's such a relief to read actually good battle tactics in graphic novels. xD The ones I'm familiar with are gun-ho ready for suicide missions with a "heart-of-the-cards" mentality.

Ah, young pride, he's not taking into account how much experience that old dog has with fighting this enemy. He'll die soon, likely in a slow, painful way.

Actually Singh is very knowledgeable of matters of Naval Warfare. He has read about all the great battles and strategies.. plus having an excellent memory to draw on the information at any time.
However - that is about as far as his talents go. He despises Luther because Luther is NOT pedigree, a noble by marriage , and therefore a blot on highborn society.

So, is it cannon that Singh has erectile dysfunction?

Maybe Singh should volunteer to lead a sortie through to the Cathazra's position, since he seems so confident :P

RECAP of red lantern: conviction

Zakkra got to shore and are wanting to trade gold for the clans indentured. Dhaval is getting used to his new life with help of Amon, also the tigress had her not so tiger baby (feline hybrid). Meanwhile, Luther was having nightmares about the burning of serwich, took his horse for a ride and got Amon for a while. The clan leaders got together to discuss the cathazra’s offer in trading their workers for gold. Luther and Amon hung out and now the captains are discussing about where the cathazra might have docked.

Thanks for the recap. It was either get a recap or not bother with this for a while. I just don't have the time to reread it this semester.

Also.. Matron (owner of the brothel) has told Amon that he is going to be sold as he is old and no longer brings in enough coin to support him.
Matron already knows that the Zakkra are not going to work the slaves.. but to eat them.

Also previously in Red Lantern Amon used his life savings to purchase a night with Dhaval - as Dhaval's virginity was going to be auctioned off. The other bidder was a sadistic son of a lord who also was the one who damaged Amon's back.
Amon's job was to train Dhuval in the ways of a worker however Amon was too soft hearted to force the issue with Dhaval. Dhaval was broght as a slave.. sold by his parents. He fell asleep at home and then woke up in the brothel.

That's a good question. I'm not certain yet since we haven't finalized the contract for Conviction. I'm going to say no right now, simply because of the royalty issue. There are two other artists working on this comic, and only I profit from my Patreon, so it wouldn't exactly be fair to them and I'm not sure how we'd work that out royalty-wise. We'll strive to have a digital edition available this time around, though.
