Honestly, I've deemed this attempt a failure... I massively need more practice on Stitch... a whole lot more practice. I can barely draw him with two arms let alone four arms.
Come to think of it I might be trying to hard to mimic his appearance through how he looks through Disney. Well just goes to show, I'm no Disney animator.
...Still labeling this attempt a failure though... *makes note to give another attempt some other time with less motive to make it look closely to Disney style*

True, which is partly why I submitted it, even though its not part of my main gallery.
Problem being is that my 'style' is kinda cute anyways, least that's what everyone seems to comment. I do happen to lay things out with circles (more-or-less ovals or oblongs) for the structure of the drawing; however, some reason it doesn't seem to work well for Stitch in my style of drawing. I probably have to look at him more to see a way to adapt to the character design as I rarely get a chance to see the show on Disney Channel anymore because it's on early off in the morning and airing of the movies don't seem to show up often anymore either.

My very first attempt at drawing Stitch (found here, done with no references apart from vague memories from when I had watched the movies and TV series and no real constructive sketching. Of course that was done with two arms as I'm unsure just how to do four arms decently without it looking like total shit [pardons the vulgar language]) was done during college while waiting for my Japanese class to start was actually quite good, so I had chosen to give a sketch another try but as you said with the animators not being able to reproduce the original in the other movies, I myself can't really reproduce it. I suppose it'll take time for me to really adapt to the style... good reason too as I've been out of the swing of drawing for a while now.
