For those familiar with the character, Tinker's bionic limbs are maintained by the glowing (Normally red) core in her right arm which powers/produces nanomachines that allow her body to be compatible with her prosthetics as well as powers the lens in her right palm, which glows the same color as the core. This lens allows her to break down non-sentient matter and either store it within the lens for later use or reconfigure it on the spot into something completely different.

But what happens when the core become compromised and contaminated? The nanomachines run haywire and while still performing their intended function, they skew her body's chemistry and alter some of her brain functions which results in an always angry and all-around mean version of Tinker, causing her to let go of any of her previous inhibitions and using the lens for selfish purposes rather than maintaining balance as she was contracted to.
