When I was redesigning the Ronin Prime in the previous pic in my Gallery, I decided I wanted to make it an Omnimech. So I thought 'hmm... what roles could it fill?'

So I thought of the Missle-boat configuration. Basically, as many missiles as I could fit on the mech, with the gear neccessary to keep it firing, as well as a secondary or tertiary 'other' weapon.

So here's the Ronin "A" configuration, nicknamed "Missile-Boat". Twin ATM-12s, twin LRM-10s, and a Medium Heavy Laser. To suppliment the laser, I tossed in a Targetting Computer, part of which is in the head (hence the neat ocular mod instead of the AMS of the Prime config. (come on... big ole Borgish targetting array instead of a left eye? COOL.)

The Medium Heavy Laser, I couldn't decide on a design; originally it was a truncated version of the Large Heavy Laser of the Prime config.. but I wasn't happy with that. So started doodling, and did the weird back part of it, and thought 'hey, an organic-looking, Zentraedi-ish arm weapon? COOL! Wonder what kinda backstory I can make...'

So there it is. The story behind the gun is a non-canon one about running into some kind of 'other enemy' out beyond the Periphary, and that the gun is a salvaged one from the enemy. The moniker of Medium Heavy Laser is used because they don't properly have a word for what it is yet. XD (please, have fun with it!)
