The smoke ballooned upward and swallowed Alex whole. His vision completely obscured, Alex could only feel what was happening to him. His muscles grew until he was the prime example of a perfect male, and a powerful energy seemed to be pouring into his body. It was similar to the kind he already possessed, but he seemed to be able to feel the entirety of the universe at the tips of his paws.

The iron grip that had held him in the air let him go, and for a moment Alex felt as if he were about to fall. But instead of doing so, he floating in mid air, completely unsupported. He wobbled at first, but then, he seemed to stabilise.

A strange sensation began to creep across his face, and before he knew it, Alex no longer had the face of a fox, but of a wolf. He felt his hair begin to alter as well, growing into a thick long ponytail held in place with golden hoops. He felt his clothes alter further until they became the same kind of jacket that the imp was wearing, and a cloth belt wrapped itself around his waist.

After what seemed like an eternity, the smoke began to dissolve. Alex's sight finally returned to him, and he could fully see the transformation that had taken place. His body was still in shock, and he wished that he could have been stronger so he could have prevented the magic from taking him over.

It was then that he realised he had made another request, one that he was sure the imp would fulfil.
