Whilst walking in the desert, the imp genie came across an old lamp lying in the sands. Recognising it as a vessel for one of his own kind, he rubbed it gently, and in a stream of smoke, a lion genie named Fehnvir appeared before him.
As they were both of the same species, Fehnvir was not obligated to grant the imp any wishes, but the two struck up a friendship. They spoke for many hours before the lion returned to his slumber, and the imp continued his journey through the world.
