Attempt #1 at doing a piece of Fan Art for 
wolfsilvermoon 's webcomic Gods Pack (http://www.godspack.com )
I'm only moderately pleased with how this came out. The general structure, ear placement, and expression are about what I want, but the eyes ruin the effect. The left is all fracked, and the right just doesn't sit right...
Right eye might be salvageable if I give it a bit of a downward curve on the outboard edge towards the reference line, but the left isn't easily savable in it's present state. I've gone over and erased that side so many times that there is a definite wear spot in the paper and there is still red smudged through.
Other Detail Problems:
* Bandanna. It's on backwards. Dagas wears hers with the knot in the front. Didn't realize this till after I'd done this rough.
* 'Star' on her forehead is somewhat smaller than depicted. I kind of like it larger and where it's placed, but it doesn't match any of the references I started checking after I got frustrated with the left eye. e_e;
Overall... I don't think I'll be finishing this one. It's a good basis of an idea, but there are definite problems that I can't resolve on paper. Might be able to use it as a rough later on Photoshop via a tablet... or possibly find a way to creatively hide that damn left eye. >_>##### We'll see. I'm kind of wanting to do something a bit more dynamic for this... maybe a Dagas/Tal 'Awwww!' pic (Technical term there! Whoot for sleep deprivation! XD). I'll decide when I get back up as I'm tired as hell and need some sleep. z_z;
Will move to scraps later.

It's just a rough, and one I'm abandoning for the reasons stated above and that it's not easily recoverable with the condition I've put the paper into. >_<; Left eye is pretty messed up now that I've futzed with it some more all throughout work.
As far as I'm concerned, the work is yours to do with as you please. I'm not planning on finishing this at this time, though I do request that if I wish to try to fix/complete it via Photoshop with my tablet (the thing is possessed, I swear!) that I be allowed to do so.
It is my intention to try another rough again in the next day or two... it just takes me awhile to get find a pose or set of poses I like and then to turn it into something workable. >_<; Not really an artist, I just futz around a bit you understand till I find something that I like well enough to try to work with. c_c; So not to fret - I havn't given up, I just don't like the direction this sketch was headed - disaster junction. Fanart should be better, especially since I know I can do better. :P
