My Imperial Psiker from the Dark Heresy game I'm a part of. This is my "character sheet" portrait basically...
So far this is the unfinished product of Ustreaming today. My hand started to cramp up after about 2 and a half hours of consecutive digital painting, so taking a break and going to let this image stew out of sight for a while, then maybe I can come back and sneer at it unhappily.
I have a lot of fun digitally painting, especially when I get to use so few colours, I think theres like four really, and they're only basic splotches of indicated colour more than anything.
So anyway, thats my personal art of the day. Now back to commissions and comics...

If you knew the options in the Dark Heresy game.. oh man.... Your character can be fully generated randomly, and its a percentile based game. Its also a very oppressive game, you really only have one option of character to play at its core, which is an acolyte in the Imperium. After that you pretty much either go all out for the Emperor or you be a subtle heretic against him.
Of course that doesn't dictate much on your actual character, but mechanics wise its kind of stifling. Still, the dark setting, skulls everywhere and futuristic feel is kind of appealing. Not to mention the expanse of the network of planetary systems.. Like.. in this universe there are BILLIONS of worlds populated to the max with people. I think one player put it best "Entire PLANETS get lost in paperwork." If that gives you an idea.
