Cove is actually a friendly type of dragon and from the northwestern parts of the Pacific before coming to Poseidon City. Of course since aquatic dragons already have the powers to command the water around them, most merfurs view them as sacred figures gifted by the god Poseidon himself while several view them as bringers of the storm as it said when there is a aquatic dragon around, then a mighty storm will happen the next day.

Cove is not like any aquatic dragons as he doesn't see himself as a sacred figure or storm bringer. Thus often when he goes from his home village in the northwestern parts of the Pacific to Poseidon City; he was often bombarded with other merfurs offering gifts to him to several telling him to keep swimming. This hurt the kind-hearted merdragon as he came to Poseidon City, where he had a run in a certain merwolf prince. At first it was rough between Cove and the prince, but soon the merwolf prince showed the lonely merdragon that everyone in Poseidon City is nice and of course, after meeting the King and Queen of the kingdom, Cove found himself living within Captial.

He soon became good friends with Prince Maku, the merwolf he met before, and is living in the noble district and has a position to help the Kingdom's guards and warriors gifted with magic harness their ability and control them. Thus giving him the title of Royal Mage.
