Over at https://www.patreon.com/Tsampikos Zero and Thirteen asked about a casual, more regular Mik. They specifically asked if I had anything against it.
I don't have anything against it actually.
The issue I have have is that in doing furry porn paysites for so long that I have a fairly baked in association with furry and porn. My initial reaction will always be with this in mind until something drastic changes. I tell myself my audience wants or expects this so it's always the first thing that comes to mind. I know it's not an absolute truth. There are people who are here for the art for a specific character... people are here for myriad reasons actually. I get that. The gut reaction is what it is regardless and it might be something I need to actively change.
I would love to explore a more casual Mik though. I like to think when not sexing it up or on camera she is an impulsive dork and overall sweetheart.
I might finish this up.

I know, right? I've never seen it as something detracting; Mik is adorbs X3. I always wondered about the story behind it, as it's literally a part of her... which is also why I apologized in case it was too personal.

I'd like to say that all furries appreciate casual, non sexualized characters just as much as they do porn. Since art is a major method that we express ourselves and self-visualization is important. I think that it simply comes down to whats more important when commissions cost money and that inevitably leads to porn.
Personally, I'd love to see all of your characters in more g-rates art as well.
