I'm very happy with how the coloring came out. It was an experiment that went well! ^__^
Only one question: Does the background compete for attention too much? If so, I'll probably tone it down a bit.

I think the dotted background makes it look a tad too busy, but the lighted part makes it seem like light falling through leaves or something so it looks pretty neat. =3 I'd keep that for a simple background myself, not that she needs one at all mind you. Looks like she's going to need someone to help hold her up before too much longer.
