One time Max gets a flu during a period when he's low on funds, and as incentive to get him to work harder he’s not going to get any medication aid until he takes out one of the big bad final bosses that he's supposed to deal with. He’s too miserable to put up a fight, yet he still attempts to kill Ray by slothing his way over to him and ask nicely. Ray doesn't want to deal with this infested sick bag and would mercy kill him to get it over with.

At least Wallop knows letting Max die is counter productive to their mission. You just can’t kill the hero and not think they're gonna send someone else bigger and stronger after you. Plus who's the real villains in this fight, them or the employers who make their staff work with horrible illnesses just to afford food and medicine. It’s a good thing Wallop isn’t hungry for flu infested blood. Eventually he gets home and gets TLC from mama.

Drew this up last year after dealing with a crazy flu that had me bed ridden and missing work. This is a reflection of the shit we gotta deal with now, where missing out on ANY days of work not only stresses out your fellow employees, you can't get paid for being sick. Don't really want to go into how Max gets paid for his job title (Hero Knight to the Princess), but they still treat him like shit to set an example out of him. If you get sick, you just need to take the time off. It's already bad enough you feel like psychically, thanks for making me feel shitty emotionally too.
