Witnessing such a traumatic event happening to someone so young makes it totally understandable that she'd grow up to be completely unbalanced.

Wait I just noticed something. How come Zonoya has vertical slash makes when Cynder did a horizontal swipe?

It is amazing how Malefor doesen't even let Cynder recognize her own childhood friend.
