“Sometimes, you just have to roll with the snow...”
“Say Whisper, do you know how to build a snowman?” asked Lane, as he watched her roll the snow into neat balls. He tried to stifle a laugh as it was quite amusing watching her play in the snow and concentrating on making something so simple. She merely nodded, caught up in trying to form the snowballs into the shape she wanted…
It was a crisp, cold winter day and the first snow of the season. And Whisper insisted on building a snowman…instead of staying inside the house where it was warm like a sane person. Finally getting three clumps of snowballs formed to make its body, Whisper put the snowman together, patting the snow into place. Lane ran over to help her, making sure the top of the snowman did not fall off and was in place. Whisper finished it off with some rocks and a carrot nose. “See, I did it! All he needs now is an ice sword, hat, and scarf!” She beamed proudly…
”Whisper, your snowman is lopsided.” Lane muttered under his breath- he was hesitant to upset her good mood.

”Shush and let me have this dang it; he is still a snowman. A lopsided, happy snowman!”
Just a little gift for lanefurno9x9. Why? Because I felt like it! This sketch is actually a little extra the artist was nice enough to throw in from Lane’s Christmas gift, but I held off posting it until it was cold and snowy outside to match the theme. I hope you like it!
Since I am from the South, snow is so rare here, we barely get snow. So when it does snow, even if it’s barely an inch or two, the first thing we do is try to build a snowman or throw snowballs at one another…it might not be a large snowman, but we work with what we have, haha.
On a sidenote, sorry I have been so quiet lately but I am just now getting over a nasty cold and flu I managed to catch in the same week! So I have not been chatty lately; I have mostly been trying to recuperate and take it easy so I do not relapse with this crazy weather we have been having lately. Nonetheless, my crazy fluffy butt has still been playing in the cold and loving the winter weather we have been having lately. I hope everyone is enjoying the snow and cold weather right now!

Ah, I'm so glad you like it! I really like getting art with your character. I started to submit it with your other gift back in December but I was like, "Let me save this one for later..." Haha. It actually snowed where I live the other day so it just seemed like the perfect time to post it this week!
LOL! I don't know why but I swear I knew you would say that...I did! I know you have things you like perfect too. And yes, I'm feeling much better now, thanks! I still don't have much of an appetite and I'm trying not to overexert myself...particularly exercising, but I think I'm doing okay. Just glad it wasn't worse~
