Description:
A tall, light humanoid creature with bird like features such as feathers and a solid beak.
A thick layer of fur coats over its body with a bare patch over its chest and abdominal muscles.
Two dresses of long feathers drape over its hips and shoulders with firm tailfeathers protruding from its rear.
Its short legs attach to round extension of its hips that reach down, its knee joints point backward.
It possesses a mostly hot colour pallet, consisting of deep reds, light browns and bright marks of yellow.
Its eyes are a greatly saturated green, reflecting the golden hue of its shining beak.
Its face is mostly unchanging, telling its mood from expression proving to be tricky, though subtle smiles and scowls have been recorded during observation.

This specific specimen has been encoded with a failsafe, in the event that any human is put in danger while its weapon state is in effect, it will override all other commands and protect whoever was attacked until the threat is averted.
This is in effect in order to circumvent potential catastrophe.
In addition, it is also able to use this aspect to override all commands in any separate future developments.


This is Boulder, a character I designed for a story i've been working on recently. I won't go into much detail here, since in doing so i'd probably have to go into spoiler territory for it to make sense right now. Essentially, it features a group of animal-like characters with unique abilities. The "Recall" part of the project name refers to the crux of the story being gathering all of them into one place for...something. The important part of what I want to say is that i'm a big fan of comics on this site, so I wanted to try my hand at my own, which is why i've taken to drawing the characters in the first place, so I'd have a template for when it came to actually developing the story into something physical, so here it is. Many more characters to come in the future before i'll truly start to draw out the comic itself. I'll also probably upload some short practice comics in the meantime, just so I get my head around this whole comic business before then. Anyway, how does he look? I'd love to hear some feedback on his design since...his design is kind of the whole point of this image. Is he interesting? Perhaps a bit too hodgepodgey with all his birdy like features?
