Ayye guys, was finally able to put together an info sheet for my new species~!
The lore and information of the Dreamguides are under construction!
---Deamguides - What are they?---
Dreamguides are magical creatures created by the god Morpheus, tasked with protecting and guiding people as they sleep. They traverse different dreamscapes every night and defend against nightmares and bad memories!
They are a genderless species, and don't require any substances to survive. Partially immortal, they are born as Low ranks from good dreams and grow in power and age over time to become High ranks. The only thing capable of killing a Dreamguide is a Nightmare.
---Nightmares - subcategory---
It is said that when a Dreamguide's lights are extinguished, they are forever lost in the darkness. Over time, they grow desolate and lose all hope, and the despair they feel twist them into Nightmares. Now, they prey on sleepers dreams and feast on fear, and fight against the very creatures they once were.
