Sonic is wearing a custom made Downsuit Tails invented, it is a very thick and waterproof suit made for extreme cold conditions, capable of keeping the wearer warm in up to -100C, the suit features a waterproof front zip enclosure and a stud button flap enclosure to hold heat in, the hood includes a two piece bridge that can be fastened with four stud buttons so the hood can better stay on the wearer's skull, the gloves have two stud buttons on the cuffs so they can be fastened tightly around the cuffs of the suit so no heat can escape through the arms, the boots are zipless and buttonless requiring the user to slip them on ensuring their foot is comfortable fixed in place, the boots are tight to ensure that heat cannot escape through the legs of the suit, the suit is heavily padded but easy to wear with smart placement of the padding, the buttons on the suit are made of bright orange plastic for easy visibility and are very durable, using steal for the studs instead of cheaper plastic or aluminium with will bend and warp with use, the gloves have a mitten design to ensure that the wearer's hands stay warm
