They may not fly like other bird Pokemon, but when they catch a wave, they're on top of the world! =D
I love Mantykes, they're one of my favourite Pokemon EVAR. Plus it was fun trying to figure out how a mantyke would look like as a Pokemorph :) In case it can't really be seen in the in the full-version of this, there little holes cut out in the side of his "wings" so he could wear button-up shorts that button up along the outside of the legs. I guess kinda like how Lexington (from Gargoyles) is able to wear a loincloth.

*nods* I kinda "borrowed" the idea from Gargoyles, since Lexington's the same way. From what I've been told by Gargoyles fans, for gargoyles that are like Lexington, they make slits into their membranes so they can wear their loincloths, but only making the slit in the area where the clothing and belt will be, so it won't disrupt the rest of their "wings". Which kinda makes sense, the clothing had to fit on them somehow XD
