It's all about building consistency. I like to compare it to speedrunning a game.
You start slow and you learn the tricks (Chords, progressions, etc.) then you slowly begin to work on executing them faster and faster, until you have enough general skill that you can improvise solutions and learn how certain patterns work.
Each song is different, but they're made of the same building blocks. Piano is a grind for better skill that starts with learning a few tricks and culminates into being able to play or write anything you want.
The same way every single artist originally starts out drawing chicken scratch.
...While I've got your attention, I just wanted to add that while I haven't been able to donate money your way on account of my lack of a very steady income, I would like to give you my deepest gratitude for the Ask Asi/Tori thing you started. It's been one of the brightest points of most recent weeks seeing what shenanigans you post and sharing it with my group of friends who also like Undertale. I like to see us all as one big family. A bunch of Frisks from different timelines, and so... from one to another, in regards to music, like the drawings you place before us, the answer is as it has always been.

I know that sounds banal in a lot of cases, but... I do hope you know I mean it sincerely. You don't know me. I don't /really/ know you, but I've paid attention to a lot of your struggles over the last few years, and if there's anyone who... not necessarily 'needs', more like 'should' be reminded of that, I think that it's you. Keep on making people smile, I know my weeks are a little brighter because of your work... and no matter what you do, I'm sure you'll do amazing at it if you keep it up. As I said to start with. It's never too late.
