This card, the Emperor card, is the complement of the Empress card, so in terms of the RP my friend and I do, we're looking at someone who happens to be a father-figure to the Charmander/Charmeleon from the Fool Card; it just so happens to be a Chesnaught.
As always, I will provide a definition for the card.
The Emperor: Upright, it defines a father-figure, also symbolizes authority, and a solid foundation for which good (or bad) things might happen.
Reversed, it defines domination, or excessive control. It can also mean inflexibility and rigidity.
