Beneath an abandoned overpass the road splits open, hidden panels slipping apart revealing a blackness beneath. Rising out of it is a long-coated dalmatian on a motorbike, wearing sunglasses.
"Pupper one, Codename Freeway, GO!"
In a seemingly normal backyard an unobtrusive doghouse sinks into the ground. Where it stood a high class fighter jet arises, hot pink with cream highlights. In the cockpit sits a well-groomed saluki.
"Pupper two, Codename Sassy, GO!"
Both plane and bike launch forward, converging on the center of town. For a moment that are unaccompanied before a massive tank smashes through a derelict lot, painted camouflage and with an unrecognized breed at the helm.
"Pupper three, Codename Dupe, GO!"
The three vehicles converge, as if preparing to smash into each other. At the last second they pull up, and seem to morph. Metal squeals and twists and shifts in impossible ways. The tank settles to the bottom, treads becoming two massive paws, gun turret a metallic tail. The plane settles atop it, wings morphing into forepaws. The bike jumps a ramp, with a burst of fireworks and explosions, flying through the air and landing atop the mech, morphs into a massive head with lolling tongue. The transformation is complete. The marvelous massive mechanical mutt stands up, easily three stories tall, and lets out a bark that shatters windows.
For a moment nothing happens, the villainous Catsup frozen in shock, his Ketchup Cannon still blasting the orphanage to gooey smithereens. Then three vices speaking in tandem are heard.
"Super Street Strays UNITE! Hug sequence.... ACTIVATE!"
