The Alliance Andromeda is the Alliances main Carrier ship in terms of fighter support. You may be thinking it so I'm gonna say it, their is no coincidence that from the top the ship looks like an Imperial-class Star destroyer. In reality, the designs of the ship were adapted off of the ISD design and combined with a later Star Destroyer design called the Orion-class. Through years of service, the Orion evolved into the Andromeda. Alliance has been using Andromedas since before the Droid Wars. They have proven very adabtable and effective in combat. The ship is 15 km long and sports many weapons all over its hull length. It is larger then the Prometheus Battlecruiser however it is less wellarmed. The ship can hold 350,000 fightercraft and many gunships and transports. The ship has 4 massive engines and 10 smaller engines. It is a very large ship and nonUnison or Conclave Faction Empires and groups view them as dreadnaughts over a simple Battlecarrier. The Andromeda is massproduced in 4 distinct shipyards around the planet of Furonas which is a wellknown Alliance held planet and is very protected. The Furonas Empire is apart of the Alliance and upon letting the Alliance use their space, it was agreed that naturally the Furonas would be able to use a few Andromedas for their own personal military. To the Furonas, these behemoths are their Dreadnaughts. Unlike other Battlecarriers, the Andromeda can hold its own pretty well on the frontline and tends to gravitate in the front of the fleet however Prometheus or Superiors usually are with it for protection.
