This is it for the Bongoswana series. I never did get a life - I started doing another series instead :)
Edit from the year 2018. So I posted this series 12 years ago at this point. When I started the series I was still doing shading by hand and by the end (this pic) I was doing it all digital, so it was a good learning experience. Looking back on the other pics in the series . . . ehh, suck. So much bad anatomy and corny dialog. Plus, I was trying to put a lot of cameos in the series; other artists around at the time and folks that left nice comments. This was before I found out that the other artists might not appreciate it. Now I know. I think I pissed off Julio (dude moving the hose in the background behind the elephant). I think he was expecting to play a larger role (?). Not sure at this point. Times were a tad more innocent back then.
I still like the elephant in this pic (aside from his terribly overworked trunk). What a big, friendly looking blimp :)
I was just checking out some of the folks that left comments on this pic. Several are gone. Gokutothez was prolific, he would post new pics weekly. He just ceased faving and uploading about 7 years ago - I hope nothing bad happened to him. Sam-Meg moved but I'm not sure where to (?). Now (late 2018), Jahgo's gone. We were friends for years; before FA. He was one of the first furs I talked to and he was always friendly and encouraging. I'm going to miss him very much. RIP my friend.

The rest of this series is saved to a CD at my house 6,910 miles away from me. It's not posted on the internet anywhere anymore (as far as I know). I took it down because the art had too many mistakes; it bothered me to look at it. There wasn't really a story or plot to it; the series was just a vehicle to do a bunch of inflation art.
