2018 Flattening Gauntlet - Page 1
So, I've been thinking...I need to keep developing my skills. Not just in anatomy, but even, and especially, in toony TF art. And the best way to improve is to challenge yourself with regular practice!
Although, finding the motivation to draw can also be a challenge just because you're afraid of screwing up, or simply because the presumed difficulty of drawing something just drains your desire to work on it...
Sooo...I decided to fight both of those issues with something that's both challenging and interesting! So, here's the first page of the Flattening Gauntlet, a personal challenge to myself to sketch as many flattening images as I can by this time next month (reach 50 for bonus points!). It's just randomly-created characters and any character that caught my attention enough that I decided to draw them on impulse, no OCs. I already have a list of potential characters I strung together off the top of my head, so I'll train with them and post whenever I finish a full page of work.
So, there's more to come!
