This is obviously a cause that means alot to me, not only am I a bisexual woman but my mother is gay and has been married to a woman since the early 80's, far before anyone ever thought it would be legal anywhere. Down with Prop 8!

I dunno, I'm 35 and I just came out of the closet this summer to my EXTREMELY gay mother. (I am bi). she was far more accepting than I thought she would be, she is from the old school you are either gay or straight. All I can say is take it one family member at a time. It won't always be easy and sometimes it will be downright unbearable, but in the long run anything that allows you to be yourself is good.
