Wingspan: 22 feet.
Class: Gryphon: Hints of Fighter/healer. Cure wounds: 2/per day heal minor wounds. (equal about one longsword strike.) , Second wind (light self heal).
Description: Bright apricot eyes. Has black feathers lining his body, tipped with streaks of silver throughout. His beak is black with a silver stripe down the side of it. He has black scaley forelimbs with white talons. His fur is black, but his belly fur is silver/white. One rear paw of his is white, the other is black. He has a lion tail, that is black and ends with a silver tuft of fur.
Mannerism: Stands at attention most of the time, his eyes on every little movement around his princess/queen. He flicks his tail constantly. However when speaking it does not do this. When bored he draws with talon in the dirt, although will never do that with queen around.
Interactions: With new people he is very shy. Will not talk until spoken too. Once he gets to know person he WONT stop talking. If they ever point out he talks a lot he will apologize and clam up in embaressment. Around other gryphons he acts nervous.
Talent: Voidwing is very good at fighting for a gryphon. He moves faster than most gryphons, and can fly slightly faster as well. He has a keen eye for reading people's body language.
Secret: In love with the princess/Queen he guards. Insecure about how to satisfy her, or how to act in a sexual manner.
Flaw: Insecure about his abilites. Often feels the need to show off that he is good at what he does. Can easily be goaded this way. When faced with a swaying object will have a need to pounce on it like a cat.
Idea: He does what he does to protect his queen/princess. He would do anything for her and keep her safe. If that means guarding her while she murders her father? He will be right alongside her, supporting her the entire way. She has his wings and talons at her disposal.
Likes: Drinking milk through a straw, smacking other gryphon's tails. Showing off his combat abilites, opera (non gryphons.), puppet shows, run with horses.
Dislikes: cactus. (Unfortunate accident.), Bullies, scary stories (Terrified.), Lightning storms, insects.
Funny Quirk: Likes to narrate to himself sometimes what he is doing under his breath. He considers it a good luck charm when they are in stressful situations.
Voidwing was born to a clutch of eight different brothers and sisters. He of them all was the runt of the clutch. From that day he always had to work harder to get everything out of life. It also impacted his flying, fighting ability, confidence, and demeanor. Despite this he does have a loving relationship with his family. His mother was a guard gryph on the eastern regions of Lumara, while his father was a wing-commander in the eastern regions as well. He was stationed at the city of white-dell. There he learned how to fight as he did from many different teachers that his parents put him through. At first it looked like the runt wasn't able to do anything, but with enough hard work and determination he excelled more than any other gryph in his classes. He was so good at what he was going on test missions that he was hand-selected to be the guard to the princess of Lumara.
He beat out five other gryphon's for the honor of being her loyal guard. The one that would be in charge of her safety. He took the job with the same dedication and seriousness he took everything else. He was trained in how to act knightly, and with honor around the royal family of course to keep up appearances. When he met the princess she was still in training at the age of 17 to be a wizard. Spending most of his time around her he learned intimate things about her that others did not know. Soon enough the princess took a liking to him, which pleased him to no end but made him nervous about how to proceed. They have already confessed their love for one another, often stroking each other's fur or hair. He has even kissed her awkwardly with his beak, and nuzzled her. They often sleep together nuzzled close for warmth. Every night if they are not within the castle, when there they sleep in the same room but not together.
When he narrates to himself under his breath at times. The princess will join along with him, helping him narrate the scene. This always ends in a bout of laughter between the two, and now a nuzzle and affection.
