Well if it isn't Detective Washington and Chief Barkley, this dynamic duo are prodigious law enforcement officials who have...let's just say, history with a certain ringtailed crime lord.
Law enforcement works a little bit differently in this universe. It's not as if a cop can just show up and put a powerful Feranthrope who's resisting in cuffs (which is why there's a disparaging statistic when it comes to Feranthropes being killed by police.) Typically when a Detective is on a case that involves Feranthropes, the organization sends another Ferantrhope to help.
In this case, it's none other than the Chief of Alverton's 'Dog Pound' police force, a.k.a Z's greatest rival.
Poor guy can't even have a drink without being harassed.
