a car that is really neat, sadly not sold in europe exept in UK (with is so blody annoying), but here is a fun triva about the car, the cars chassi is same that was used in the lotus omega, and it shwos even with the 2.0i omegas here is really drift happy.

Now what i wonder is did the pontiac come out with the supercharged v8 with 500 hp,
as known in uk as Monaro VXR500, or was it canceld before?

I'm unsure about the Vauxhall Monaro VXR500, however, before Pontiac pulled the plug on the GTO, they came out with a 400HP V8.

The UK model got a supercharger, pritty sure it was an alternative to the one Pontiac used since it was fitted by a UK dealer.

Boosted the power up to 500hp, 4.8 second 0-60, and probably made it even harder to insure.

I just love the styling of the Pontiac version of this car. The Marano is pretty similar, but this has Pontiac's signature V-front styling, which i just love. I have a Pontiac Grand Am, and i just love the styling of that. This car is so under-rated... Love it.
