Btw, i know Captain Future too, is a great show i followed every time when i was a kid <3

the composition, sketch and lineart is done by me, the coloring again was done by my mother Macha^^

I asked her to do the coloring like it was on the old paintings of such fantasy artists like Franz Frazetta and the italian artist Vincente Segrelles.

I hope the sci-fi elements are a little close to what Ota Kuwolf is used to work with, for it was a bit designed like in old fantasy sci fi movies from the 1970s and not as sterile like in some present days sci fi stories^^

I know you had something with action in mind, but I though it would be nice to draw a calm scenario that is about sci fi and fantasy. Need not to be battle action over and over^^

Hehe then we are two. I liked Captain Future a lot too and the intro still gives me goosebumps^^

I don't know much about those artists, sadly i didn't have art lessons (not really) so i don't know many classics except the few very known ones ^^;

Ota is more into giant robots but he fits any kind of sci-fi environment, especially 80's to mid 90's kind ^.^

Hey, never sayd it HAD to be action-y, some calm scene is also great, especially when it's so well rendered ^.^ !

Yeah, the italian intro of Captain Future actually had lyrics too but back then were kinda cheesy so as of right now it only has a "nostalgia" element, but the show still holds up pretty great ^.^ !

Oh yes, I very much agree! And as one who sometimes barefoot walks, I can very much attest to learning about all sorts of places by the 'feel' of the earth around oneself. It can be quite invigorating to feel the earth, dirt, grass and whatnot give underneath one's feet.

But..y-yes...it makes me shake that even in space, that oh so handsome rat exposes his feet. How I imagine he is feeling every single crater, pebble and space dust accumulating and being pressed on by his long, huge, alluring pink feet. I can imagine every step Eternal's feet took as he walked up the stairs later with OtakuWolf. I bet he left some very lovely footprints in the ground so maybe thousands of years later, when another group of explorers reach this devastated lost civilization's city, they'd find it an amazing specimen to put under study. And ya know...might be that one person who just finds the footprints and the digging of the toes into the gravel to be utterly blushworthy to gaze at. Shoot, that footwear looks good on his feet. Matching the futuristic setting, protective of his mesmerizing feet from injuries to the sides and yet still letting his feet breathe to mark wherever he goes~ Its moments like these that also make me think that after this walk his feet shall be quite dirty indeed, and would need somecroc *coughs* to clean them for him..bashfully asking for his consent. Preferably with lots of kissing first to mark the soles of Eternal's dirty feet with kiss marks to mark the croc's 'territory' before lapping it it off for him. Can imagine some alien, that adores those foreign feet in this time period and dimension, would also like to very much tickle those exposed toes of his.

Sorry for the suddenly weird comment, but your words kinda poked at my heart for a moment. ^^; You know how I am about my weaknesses.

I loved the 80s cartoons^^

We've seen Eternal in many different dimensions and time periods, and by his very nature he can be anywhere and everywhere and take on any aspects he chooses according to the setting, so it's inevitable we would see him in an outer space setting. Appropriately enough it's not exactly dissimilar to some of the more familiar settings we see him in, with ancient ruins and an ancient undiscovered culture, though maybe it was for that purpose Ota Kuwolf chose Eternal as his companion, since with all his travels whose to say Eternal wouldn't have the most experience with such settings or maybe even know the lost culture of old.

In this case, a moon I'm guessing of the gas giant in the background, a little desolate but otherwise habitable, given Eternal and Ota Kuwolf are looking quite comfortable, and in Eternal's case in figurative shirtsleeves given its a sleeveless vest. Though I'm sure if he's able to work his magic in this setting, spells to provide breathable air and environmental protection would be workable, so he could be quite literally barefoot on the moon if he wanted. As for the dragon-like creatures, natives of the world or possibly Eternal and Ota's mounts waiting patiently for them to finish their explorations?

As for what they'll find within the ruins, if it's how it might usually go for Eternal, he and Ota will end up getting caught up in a still functioning trap, possibly bondage via metal cables or such or they'll end up awakening a beautiful humanoid alien female of unknown power and motivation and end up in all sorts of trouble, though nothing they can't both handle.

As always beautifully coloured by your mother and beautifully drawn by you, and the music brings back some happy memories, as I'd almost forgotten about Captain Future.

hehe thanks again for this accurate analysis of my pic. You allways know to choose the right words for to describe the scnearios and all the cool suggestions on possible continuations and backgroundstories. this could be easily an exposition to a possible ongoing story
