Vicki is a mother, but none of her children are taurs. She loves them all dearly, but was never ever to relate with them the benefits and challenges of being a taur.

Elane is a Roo-taur, but neither of her parents or siblings are taurs. It was always awkward dealing with the needs and limitations of being a taur while growing up.

Out of school, Elane started working at the same factory that Vicki has worked in for years. The two were introduced, Vicki responsible for training Elane. The two very quickly formed a mother-daughter bond. Elane loves hanging out with Vicki and Betty, both on lunch and off work. Vicki loves having someone who is a taur to mentor to.

Here they are in the factory locker room after work. It's normal in a furry world for two friends to shower together, getting the back and other places they can't reach. For taurs it's practically required, how else are they supposed to get their hindquarters clean when they can't even reach it.
