Was more of a pain to recolor then I would have liked, since I had to work with a flat image. And I just now figured out a better way I could have done it, hmm.

Blob stuff usually doesn't do it for me but this is pretty excellent.

I suppose it might be the fact that as with most things I draw, I am one of very few who prefer a dark/brutal feel for the subject. Where as most seem to draw subjects more lighthearted. At least in my opinion.

I need to do more of it, there really is not much dynamic art in general and I could use the practice.

I don't think I ever really quite "got" this piece until now. But I really like it now that I do. Kartonis looks positively fierce, and that makes Fumei all the more frightening.

Got as in just could not follow the action in the inks? And yeah Strega already hinted upon the nature of a blob like character and how overwhelmingly powerful they can be, though I personally always try to infuse a few weaknesses in mine, Styx for example does not do well with fire and presumably an EMP would outright kill her, though good luck figuring out what she is made of to come to that conclusion.

Not sure how other such blob characters work though.

I know Fumei's much the same way. Extreme temperatures don't play well with him, with fire melting and keeping him incapable of taking on something solid. Or freezing outright keeping him immobile.

Electricity...now that's something that needs to be tested...

Well electricity is key with Styx because she is an AI that is contained within the billions, if not trillions of nano-machines suspended within the mass of her body, which work together much as a hive mind, with important aspects of her intelligence and data being redundant and then some within the memory infrastructure. She is also capable of shifting her machine components around at will, thus protecting crucial ones and sacrificing others that she can spare if attacked or damaged. But well an EMP could in theory just kill her brain, with the machine half of her being wiped out she would simply be a pool of silicon compounds on the ground.

Very nice piece here! Completely love the colour. Looks alot better than some of your previous blob works. But I guess that's because its an overall different theme. Overall though, the shading here is extremely well done. Its nice to see some kind of action situation without having some random genitalia hanging about.

Meh in general I like sexual content in images to be subtle and fitting with the scene, but then as established I am not normal around here.

Kill, I can't thank you enough for the work you put into this amazing piece, especially volunteering to mess around with the recolor. Fumei especially looks just fantastic now...like fighting a blob of half-frozen mercury. And the work with both his wings is just stellar...really showing his abilities to the fullest.

I dunno what I could have been thinking here though, facing him head on like this with tooth and claw is never going to end well when you're made of meat. *chuckles* No part of that creature isn't a weapon, and it looks like I'm about to learn it the hard way, sans a head.

I honestly would not have done the extra work for many people, as much as I take pride in my work, I tend to make it clear that once your happy with the inks, it is out of my hands and I have done all I am required to do.

That is part of why I did it, I knew you two would appreciate it, unlike a lot of people I have done work for who more just expect it.
