After five years of musing, I finally have started my first ever webcomic, 'Willow And Timothy'. Having figured getting a TV series made at this moment in time would be unviable and unrealistic, a fellow member of the Space Gypsy staff suggested that I perhaps try it as a webcomic instead.
I was prolific as a comic artist back in the late 1990s, well before I could draw animals, but my home made strips were awful unfunny crap that any child could have made. Writing a good story has often been tough for me to do by myself, but I finally have the right characters and setting so writing some mild humour is something I shouldn't try too hard at.
So let me explain this comic a little - The main characters will be Willow and Tim (obviously) with several of my other characters in supporting roles, plus there are to be a fair number of throwaway characters involved. I decided to bring Willow back to her mechanic routes, and Timothy (who is set to make his introduction in strip #2) similarly will land a job with the police later on. If this pilot strip is successful, then for now I plan to have weekly updates of the strip owing to how long it takes me to make one. If people can live with that then I can too ;)
On another important note, I am thinking of which sort of site I can host this webcomic on; I am thinking of Comic Genesis as the most likely choice (it looks functional and would do the job), but I'm also considering The Belfry Webcomics as well. Please give me some some advice! What do you guys think?

This isn't the first time there has been a Raccoon based web-comic series. May I present a shameless plug for
Azraelle 's web comic series "Bristled".
You can look at it for some inspiration, I guess.
