I've always been impressed with the style of your backgrounds. If I may make a contrast to melting Pot, (which you already know I cum over on a semi-daily basis,) the the way you make the world around you a representaion of itself, in itself. Likewise Melting pot kind of made me think of the phrase "Small world." This reminds me of of small we all are in the grand scheme of things. Somehow its comforting. Maybe i misunderstood the project completely. Either way, fantastic job, the lighting effects are also impressive
Also it looks like that top buttons gonna snap and thats freakin hot.

:3333 haha waooo
oh man thanks. i'm glad you enjoy this one. i was looking to do something really detailed and kinda otherwordly like 'melting pot'. as for imagery, i'm flattered you think so deeply of it. i suppose in doing these kinds of things i leave it mostly up to the viewer to determine what they think/feel it means, because honestly, i just wanted to do a little drama! also, the smokestacks in the background were practically stolen from melting pot :p

If I had to choose one word to describe this picture it would be claustrophobic. In a good way. It's a lot more cramped and overpowering than Melting Pot, which feels more wide open despite the "small world" effect. Here it feels like the buildings are peering over her shoulders, just waiting for the right moment.
