Saitina was born in an underground cavern. She grew up to be agile and sneaky. Raised with her older sister Quinntessance, both of them matured quickly and moved out at a young age. The two sisters agreed to share a den underground together. Quin immediately wanted to travel, and would return home a day or two later than planned. Saitina enjoyed a place to herself but always worried.
With a rougher start to life, 'Tina kept a bright mindset. Everyday she would be picked on, but remained smiley and compassionate. She ended up the responsible one of the two, but not by choice. Her sister stole the spotlight growing up. Their parents gifted Saitina, as long as she kept her older sister in line.
