Now every comic has his darks moments, and i think it's time for this comic to has its own. An explanation for Frostbite's current personality.
He never experienced defeat, he was never harmed, he always felt powerful.
Now, thanks to a personal vendetta with the bear, Frostbite realized that he was made of flesh, he realized he was vulnerable like the rest, and most importantly, he was stripped from all his power, beated, branded and humilliated as a result of his reckless actions.
Any form of resistance or fight would have been fatal for her girlfriend.
The person he putted in danger, and now the reason he was powerless.
His mistake.
His fault.
Lesson learnt.
Well, another week, another page! Woooo! And finally we got the background of that grouchy bear's personality!
Yay for flashbacks! Now we know him a little bit more! ^^
it has been a crazy week but i'm managing to scrap hours for this! Yay for productivity!

This took a different turn from what I was expecting. o.o I was expecting a scarred Hero who would never know love again after the tragic death of his love. Instead it's the story of how a carefree spirit was destroyed by the cruelty of man. Probably a spirit destroyed forever. :< Not sure which is more tragic. *Nightshade pops through a portal, hugs Frostbite, and leaves just as quickly*
Damn, Snowflake definitely isn't just a hero in name. It's so sad that something like this had to happen to him though. Hopefully someone can warm up that poor bears heart soon enough and make him forget about these kinds of hardships D:
A really good job you did on setting up that last panel big burr. From the way Snowflake has been fastened by the chains, to the messages on the wall for the heroes who would eventually find the two of them.

Feel so bad for him. I would gladly have taken his place to help save him from the pain and torture or to even help share his burden. I would gladly do whatever it took to make the big guy feel better and to take away a lot of this if I could. He's such a noble guy and really a true hero. Someone any hero should aspire to be like as he does have a selfless side and fights for whats right. Truly a noble hero...so sad this tore his heart a little from all the torture and abuse. If only I were a hero and could have helped come to his rescue...maybe even saved him from so many days of hell. And if I were a hero it would be so awesome to fight at his side or even Wildfires. Those two are both something else. Even if I was caught or any of my characters were caught and rubberized by these symbiotes I would still feel it an honor to fight alongside either of these two.
I love the character development. Every page has a purpose and each panel tells us so much more about these heroes and even the villains in this and why we should care about them. That is so wonderful to pace out a comic so well and know when character development or back story is needed. Those pauses help build the tension even more as we see more of why we should be pulling for these characters or what has formed the way they carry themselves. Thats the hallmark of someone who understands how to not only build a comic or a character or even a story. That is some talent and even the art builds on the story so well. Even the facial expressions as well as the mannerisms of these characters really is so compelling you can build so much with a simple expression or mannerism. Great job and it is such a joy to see each new page. Really makes me wish I or one of my characters were rubberized by a symbiote and got to meet these wonderful heroes...or even fight alongside them. To me that is so wonderful that want and desire really makes me have such an emotional investment in this comic and its characters.
Great job you are one very talented fellow. And thanks again escapes like these always bring me so much joy and lift me up when I'm down. May have lost my job friday but things like this make me want to fight hard just like these heroes for something better than what I had...thanks for that hope. I needed that. ^_^

But yes, that took a toll, but specially because he was warned about those possible scenarios and he didn't listen. So he was mainly mending his ways.

What an experience to be had. That scarred him for sure from ever letting anyone near him again that could force him into another situation like this.
But that is just what 01/Wildfire might need to convince Frostbite to willingly take the symbiote. No more weak body that can be harmed and finding love from a caring Master Buns and his fellow drones.
With that past the possible proposition of Master Buns delivered by 01 became just more intriguing for sure.

The whole being a slave drone to Master Buns will sure be a hard to chew point for Frostbite especially as his experience with the crime boss was somehow slavery as well,
but being able to love again, being near invulnerable and especially being allowed to stay a hero and help the people will weigh heavy on the pro side of that possible deal.
