But there's also that part of me that loves emotional and romantic works. I'd like to think the artist was also genuinely pleased with their efforts, sometimes they don't often say a lot other than generic 'it was fun' type comments. The suspicion I have is that people may think it is arrogant to announce that they are proud of their own work, or that they did a bloody good job if they do say so themselves. It's quite sad because it is not a crime to be proud of your own work if you know you HAVE done a good job of it... to actually acknowledge to yourself and others that you are pleased with the way it turned out.
Anyway, enough of me ranting and raving... I am also keen to work with you some more also Will be doing some major editing in the next few weeks/months so that gives me the opportunity to come up with a scene or two that I can discuss with you.

Now that's an awesome commission piece, covenmouse did one hell of a great job with it. Not only is it well drawn and shaded but it has a lot of emotion in it. Love the way she drew out Andrej & Tainui, it really does look like a scene that was just yanked right out of your story.
Kind of gives me a bit of motivation to get back and try to work on my human anatomy some more along with trying to get the human face down.

Yes it does, I was looking at his/her site and just wow, very impressive stuff posted there, I hope that you are able to get some more commissions from Covenmouse, I would love to see some of your Vanguard boys done with his/her style.

As far as both the artwork and story work, well I do have a piece that I am almost done with that I have be working on for the last 3+ weeks, and that I hope to finish up and post here with in the next day or 2.
The story work is slow going at the moment kind of got stuck toward the beginning in one of those odd spots where I know what I want to write, but just not sure how to write it out. Kind of guessing that I may need to pass over it for the moment and come back to it later on.

Her, Covenmouse is female to my knowledge. I've got another one in the works and hopefully more down the track if she doesn't get sick and tired of me Oooooh, so you got something in the pipeline? Good stuff! Don't force the writing... get a few key ideas jotted down and walk away from it. You'll find that after a while your muse will find some way of making it work out, or will suggest other paths to look at.

Well, in my story, the main character fall in love of a black man (with almost same years old) who's bald.

There's anthro's too in my book :).

I quite like interracial stuff, not to mention interspecies stuff as well. Tainui is a Maori (I have a thing for Maori guys), and the Vanguard are alien rather than anthro, but similar concept to what you have thought of.

Have you got any of your work posted up anywhere? Would love to have a read of it if so?

My book (called Denaris: Les Seigneurs d'Yseïr - Lords of Yseïr in english) should be published in france in May or June :)
