Sometimes COLOR-WISE :
the offspring take more of one parent ( Ekaterina took more on Sergei than Valeriya )
the offspring is a good mix of both parents ( Nikolai took a perfect mix of Vladimir and Yelena )
the offspring is having a visual genetic disorder ( Konstantin is albino, hiding his real color pattern )
For the 3rd detail, Albinism, Leucistic, Melanistics and Vitiligo, I suggest to STILL MAKE THE DESIGN non-affected by these genetic disorders, so you have a good starting point if the character ever produce offsprings aswell, because Albinism, Leucistic, Melanistic and Vitiligo are not regular "morphs".
