I've seen some really cool customized action figures here on DA, especially those made by somakun on DA Every time I see those I always think "I wanna DO that!" Then I remembered I had a perfect base to do a little customizing on. I did a little picture comic a looooooong time ago. http://wakeangel2001.deviantart.com.....ebcam-18986446 That was a broken Medabot toy I found in my grandma's bag, which I fixed up with cannibalized bits of another broken toy. (Don't ask me which medabot because I don't know, the head and right arm were missing.) The whole gimmick of the medabot show was that the loser of a "ro-battle" had to surrender a weapon part to the winner, which is why the little figure is so easy to take apart. I simply used the same clay I use to make my keychains (green because that's the color I have the most of and it contrasts the toy's original color) and made the missing pieces and here we are, my first custom action figure!

cool custom, I collected almost all those mini figures, only missed out on Robo-emporor. But I always thought a cool combo would be to use Cyandog as a base (obviously my fave) then add a Megaphant shield arm on the left and a Samurai right arm with the energy sword. But i thought of taking it a step farther too, to repaint the arms. The shield arm would be painted to match the color scheme of Cyandog, complete with a lightning bolt painted on the shield itself. and the right arm would also be repainted and the blade would be altered so the beam was yellow. I might even change the left shoulder part to a Cyandog sholder, but keep the right sholder the same since Samurai looks like he has better armor there anyway
