Squidfeather is from a story where all of the warrior cats live on floating islands. His mother left the clans before he was born and he lived on the ground, never learning to fly.

He's a sweet and adventurous young cat who dreams of one day taking flight. He knows nothing of the clans since they rarely venture to ground level but spends a lot of time watching them fly above him.

Despite being about the age of an apprentice he goes by a full warrior name. This is because his mother called him Squidfeather from the day he was born. If he were to be accepted into a clan it is most likely he'd be called Squidpaw until be became a warrior and then would be called Squidfeather once again.
