The salt flats at Bonneville Speedway are looking great for the official speed week. We benefited from the compacting and grooming done before that, and on July 13th we were able to take the Z4 out on there, and squeaked just over 150 mph (the limiter's still intact).

These things are meant to be DRIVEN, not just looked at. I mean it's nice to date a supermodel for her looks, you know, but she's gotta perform, too.

I am in awe of all the CUSTOM work that people put into their vehicles to get to vastly greater speeds; I'm glad to have just been able to visit. And then dump $15 in the pressure washer at a car wash in Salt Lake City, haha.
