Z4 at the Avenue of the Giants

Isolde, my 2006 BMW Z4 3.0si, awaits our return at Avenue of the Giants, Redwood National Forest in northwest California. We got to take her on truly curvy alpine roads and the salt flats in Bonneville Speedway. Driving at 150 mph was exciting, but the end results were nowhere near as photogenic. ;)

I was very fortunate to have had the chance to travel across the country to this gorgeous rain forest. It seemed like a good way to handle the scale too. :>

But it's such an adorable little duck tail! The updated designs are a dreary regression back to the mean, there are too many static lines reintroduced to the bodywork.
