Notice the almost total lack of the incision on the torso? Also, its fur is still a bit fluffy. Like I said, this was a very well done taxidermy job.

Though, my insane inner perfection is screaming that the pesudo/scrotal-pouch was not preserved properly. Its a small, partial pouch located right were the testes are & is believed to have housed/protected them at times. Please note, given the time period, I do not fault the taxidermist for this minor oversight. Marsupial anatomy is odd enough, without making it spot-on for this feature that is unique to the thylacine.
This one is on display in the Royal Museum of Scottland, Edinburgh; Scotland.
