A few days before AC09,  train asked if I had any experience drawing anthro horses, ostensibly for a proposed pic involving his character "Lady Liberty". At the time, I didn't know if I could do it--equines were one of those species I had shied away from as a "how do I make one of those look good?" situation, but I decided to give it a try anyway. After all, before FWA '09 I didn't think I could draw a quadrupedal dragon either.

I did the pencils for this in the Zoo at AC09, sitting near  rabbi-tom (and possibly gaining some ability via induction :D --he later gave the pic a thumbs-up). I gave this about an hour of brush inking and minor digital cleanup to make it presentable.
