Dogs seem to be loving
usually coming to the door to greet
but she didn’t say hello

Today seem very different now
I saw her when I left her
but now she has disappeared

I looked for her everywhere
after time, I went over to dad
who appeared to be high

I asked where she was
“She apart of the garden now, where
the flowers bloom” he said

I rushed outside to find
a wheelbarrow dirtied not to long ago
and a new dirt pile

The garden seemed in ruins
nothing now but dirt and destroyed flowers
Then I realized what happened

She was a old dog
her age would catch up to her
but i was not ready

A few weeks have passed
I visit her grave every so often
laying next to her spot

Few years later, we moved
to my knowledge she’s still buried there
laying deep in the garden
