By St. Marie, she is the hollow hand of her owner, to be moved only when filled with her will. She is a candle, burning itself out for the comfort of another. She is a brick, set into the wall of civilization, unthanked and unnoticed.

Except she's actually a trembling hand, full of half-understood desires and jealousies. She is a garbage fire, igniting everything around her as she sabotages her life. She is a brick giving way, threatening to collapse the whole of the wall around her.

Sounds like she needs some discipline and guidance before she finds herself a hand cut off, a fire quenched, and a brick ground out and replaced.

Her new owner has crazy ideas like "slaves are people" and "you should just talk to your slaves instead of punishing them"

but she also gets drunk and abusive so

where her owner comes from slaves work like video games, you own a license to keep and use them but there are limitations what you're allowed to do. you basically can only get slaves from Steam in her part of the world

as opposed to here, where it's more like an indie scene and everything's released on creative commons open source
