Our dog, Gypsy, found yet another nest of bunnies in our back yard. My dad saw she had something in her mouth, and it was a bunny. He took it from her and put it back in the nest, sadly it didn't survive. So then there were 3. We decided it would be best for these little guys if we moved them. So, he packed them up and took them to a rehabilitater who lives in our area.
I always feel bad having to remove the babies, but if we don't the dog will eat them - or male rabbits will, which is what happened to one litter of bunnies we found last summer around this same time.
Here are the 3 surviving babies just before my dad drove them to the rehabilitater. Jeeze they're so cute!
